What is PR?

The Public Relations (PR) Committee helps carry the message of recovery to the general public and professional community. They work to increase awareness about Narcotics Anonymous by providing accurate information to schools, healthcare providers, treatment centers, courts, community organizations, and the general public. Through presentations, literature distribution, outreach efforts, and community engagement, PR subcommittees help ensure that anyone seeking recovery can learn that Narcotics Anonymous is available and accessible. Their primary purpose is to support NA’s mission of helping addicts find a new way of life through recovery.

Want PR to attend your event?

If you would like to get involved, or are interested in having Public Relations attend a community event or outreach initiative, please contact us using the form below. We are always looking for more ways to spread awareness and the NA message that recovery from addiction is possible. Whether it is for a health or community event, recovery walk, treatment center, or even just making NA literature available to your community, we would love to hear from you!

“The Narcotics Anonymous message is ‘that an addict, any addict, can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use and find a new way to live.’ Our relations with the public enable us to share this message broadly so that those who might benefit from our program of recovery can find us.”https://na-pr.org/public-relations-in-narcotics-anonymous/
